Mock up of review.

Planned filming for 16th

I had planned with my actress to meet up at my house and do some filming on sunday the 16th as mentioned before, However i managed to overlook the University of Plymouth's Taster day which fell on the same weekend meaning i would not be able to do filming with Sally as we were both in Plymouth participating in the Theatre and Performance Taster day.

We have re-arranged the filming for Next sunday being all well and good i hope to do the same timings and plan but on the 23rd and editing on the 24th

This Time Next Week

Just an update really, I hope to by Next week to have started editing my second shoot's footage.

There is my plan for Monday's lesson and after break time, shall try my best to follow that plan.

Arranged some Filming

Spoken to my actress today and we have arranged to meet up and do some filming as we were unable to meet up during the christmas holidays. we have arranged to do some filming on the 16th January

• Will be from 4pm onwards
• Me, Sally, Mum will be present
• I shall organise to borrow the following equipment
• Camera
• Tripod
• It will be in the same Location which is my house.
• I will then produce a newer Rough cut.

So far

I have produced my Publisher mock-up.

Due to not having photoshop and it is my prefered option of creation i will produce the photoshop product at school. I Think the review i have written is still quite basic but i am still quite unsure of it, I WILL go back and make changes to it.

Review.

As my Short film is a mickey take of an actual Piece of work i feel that i will find it hard to write about.
To start with i shall do a mock-up in publisher and then once i'm happy with the publisher mock-up i will transfer it into Photoshop where i can add in the shots from the film and the photographs i will have taken.

Questions...
1. Am i completly making up a review.
2. Am i being critical of myself as the filmaker as a 'reviewer' or am i just saying about the content.
3. What shots and pictures do i use?

Comedy piece maybe?

Yesterday I sat with my dad and watched nigella lawson's food programme. This inspired me to not to my insomnia idea and go for a spoof parody style short film. I always had an idea of a comedic video.

I realise that doing a film based on insomnia is informative but looking at media outlets such as the internet, TV and film I have concluded that the majority of films are comedic and even though I in a way am conforming to this line of thought I feel that a comedic piece would be more recepted.

I shall keep the same actress and will do both the comedy and insomnia idea and ask my fellow students what they think I should do or what they would prefer. Also looking at my target audience who is 16+ I feel a comedy video would be more appreciated.
